How it all began
Born like so many others out the COVID-19 pandemic, my garden provides a much-needed respite from my job as a healthcare worker. My garden-to-vase florals reflect what is growing seasonally in the garden and the natural ebb and flow of the seasons.
When designing my bouquets and arrangements, I take inspiration from the movement, texture, and form I observe in my daily walks through the property.

Backyard gardening with intention
Starry Lane Flowers is a roughly 300 sq. ft. microflower farm in the heart of a residential neighborhood in Canyon Country, CA. What started as two garden beds during the pandemic quickly escalated to 15 flower and vegetable beds, 35 rose bushes, 8 fruit trees, and hundreds of native plants and flowers, all grown lovingly in my small Santa Clarita backyard. Almost everything in my garden has been grown directly by seed, corm, tuber, or root with great care and love.
